2008 Housing Crisis
Understanding the Cause

The 2008 Housing Crisis changed the fabric of the “infallible” housing market and uprooted many Americans from their homes, jobs, and an established sense of security in the housing market. It also revealed the harsh socioeconomic divisions in America where many billion dollar mortgage and banking industries were “bailed out” while many working to middle class Americans suffered deep financial loss.
